Plants in Stone Pot - Digital Illustration

I enjoy drawing plants and seeing how different combinations and shapes work together. Sometimes the plants I draw actually exist, sometimes they're only in my imagination. I find inspiration on walks, in plant lover accounts I follow and in vintage botanical posters and books. Strangely enough, I think one of my favorite parts of this piece is the flooring. I love how a simple photo I took of a wooden fence plank can be tweaked and manipulated into providing the perfect foundation for the grand stone pot. The pot just happens to be textured by the concrete patio beside that fence. ;)
