I love food illustration and drawing it in flat lay style is one of my favorites. It allows me to show different angles and stages of the food as well as the intricacy of the cross section. These rich, vivid colors seem to be a signature in my creative style. I can't help but be drawn to them. This illustration brings wonderful memories of my Noni who was the greatest fig lover of all time!
