Yosemite Mist Trail

Women Who Rock

This is a series of portraits I created of contemporary female musicians. They are singers and songwriters who are brilliant and introspective. They inspire me with skill, strength and vulnerability. The styling is loosly inspired by the commercial posters of Czech artist, Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939). While his Art Nouveau style captured beauty and delicacy in women, my goal was to capture their strength and intensity. Artwork from this series is available for purchase here in my online shop.

Sassy Cat

This is a triptych I created to show three versions of the same scene. Altering the colors can change up the whole vibe of a piece. The black cat was my original and can be purchased here in my online shop. I love the contrast of the rust and blue.
