Botanical Petals Collage

This digital collage utilizes some of my own photography and painted textures. I find tons of elements all around to use for textures - metals, fabrics, stone, wood, etc. Photographing and then manipulating with filters, colors and blend modes creates new and interesting effects. I also like the use of white linework to separate the petals. On a white background they blend in and it forces the eye to see negative space between the petals and how each curved line contributes to the whole.
